Last night, with brain cells pumped, we took part in the second McNaughton’s Paper Pub Quiz, held this time at Ball Brothers in the City of London. Twelve design agencies took part to see who had the best nerdy glasses, indie check shirts and knew the most random facts about sport, music, science & nature and every designers favourite film, all with the hope of winning the crown and taking home the prizes.
Our efforts were gallant – we somehow managed to know the name of Will Smith‘s character in Men In Black (Agent J), Henry VIII’s sixth wife (Catherine Parr) and of course that the current bank lending rate is at 0.5% – yet still we managed to come in fifth place – which is an improvement on last year. At this rate we’ll be winners by 2013.
