Seemingly every world event now deserves its own remake of the ubiquitous World War Two ‘Keep calm and carry on’ poster. It only took a day from the first news reports of Swine Flu for this version to appear on blog Agency Spy. Originally rediscovered and reprinted by Barter Books in Alnwick, Northumbria (which incidentally, at 20p, sells possibly the cheapest cup of tea in the UK), the poster seems to have captured the public’s imagination. From the windows of Brooklyn real estate agents to an array of Flickr groups, everyone seems to have their own version.

There’s a great article by the BBC about the origins of the poster if anyone is interested.
